Co-founded
by Alan and Suzanne Osmond,
One Heart, Inc.
is a 501(c)(3) international
non-profit organization dedicated to "Strengthen Families" by publishing content, raising funds,
producing events with "more than entertainment",
and in bringing awareness and resolve to family issues. With headquarters in
Orem, Utah, One Heart's
mission is to "strengthen individuals by
providing guiding principles that unite families and society through faith,
courage, love, commitment,
truth
and integrity."
How does ONE strengthen his or her
family?
What are the needs and where does
ONE start?
There’s no easy answer, but there are many approaches to take. Families today
face pressures that were unknown even ten years ago. One
Heart seeks to strengthen families in the face
of these pressures and is making a difference for families today. You can help
by looking in the mirror and asking yourself, "Am I working my hardest at being
a good member of the family?", "Am I being true and faithful to them?", "Volunteering
my time and talents to help others?", "Signing up for thefamily.com
ISP to get FREE family content, ideas, and helps?"

Here are some things we do!
1.
One Heart strengthens families of the hearing impaired.
With our web site: http://www.deaf.net
we reach out to those families in the "deaf world" and provide a "voice"
of help in many ways. In 2002, with the generosity of
The Starkey
Hearing Foundation, together we gifted 100 pair of digital hearing
aids FREE to families with deaf children in Utah. (this was approximately
$3,000 a pair or $300,000) These were the finest hearing instruments
available and we fitted both ears.

2.
One Heart publishes FREE advice
from qualified experts
and information for families who are
affected by chronic illnesses or financial challenges on how to keep the
family together and their marriages intact. We publish books,
articles, music, and resource publications addressing issues facing
families today. Our marketing and fundraising site,
thefamily.com, provides family safe
access to the internet and publishes many articles and information to help
families! Also, our internet site at
http://www.oneheart.org provides valuable, free information on many
family-related topics. On our websites, we give everyone the
opportunity to share their voices
regarding issues that are important to families.
By using all media tools with visual and audio
capabilities, we emphasized principles that will strengthen the basic unit
of society . . . the family.

3.
One Heart produces live events
that help bring families together.
| |
- The 1997
“Branson Blast” was created to celebrate the family.
Tickets were free for those who
attended as a family, entertainers all shared positive family
moments, other family charities were guests that gave advice to the
crowds of 20,000+ and everyone enjoyed entertainment, fireworks, and
presentations.
|
| |
-
"The Hope of
America" and "Kids for Vets" we had children honor their
Veteran fathers and grandfathers, and Bob Hope dedicated a special
monument that recognized the veterans and the Hope of America--their
children.
|
| |
-
One Heart
has often been invited to help produce
The World Congress of Families
where family issues and values were discussed and supported.
|
| |
- Alan
Osmond donates his time towards producing family valued events with
"more than entertainment" to
give families valued things to do, and spend quality time
together. An annual
event for state fairs called "Family Blast" was developed to keep families doing things together.
Alan started producing live stadium events 25 years ago and is being
honored this July 2nd, 2005 in celebrating 25 years of his creation
of
"Stadium of Fire" for "family entertainment" in Provo,
Utah. The newspaper reviews said the entertainers,
"...brought a sense of clean-cut
decency to the celebration, proving that entertainers need not
sacrifice high standards for popularity."

The Family Award is a recognition program that
recognizes and awards family friendly web sites,
successful families and organizations, outstanding individuals, corporate commitments and contributions
of those trying to "give back" to society by strengthening families. |
 |
| |
|
6.
We also produce valued television programming and
community service spots, sharing content, activities, and helpful
tips for families everywhere and for children with
"thEfamily" animated characters.
7.
One Heart's NEW I.S.P. (Internet
Service Provider) TheFamiy.com, helps
families get safely connected to the internet
and provides great filtering
for safe family valued content. Profits from this go back to One
Heart as a fundraising effort.

The
scouting program supports a belief in God, Family, Heritage and Timeless
values as indicated in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. This is a
wonderful blueprint for the youth of the world.
